My Educational Philosophy

I believe that all children deserve the same kind of education no matter what kind of background they come from. Children learn best  from themselves and  peers. I believe that in order for a child to learn they need to have the model first and then they can produce the result by themselves. From my previous experience I feel that coming up with curriculum can be challenging because you want your children to have fun while learning at the same time, but it can be possible and being creative is the most important thing. It is also very important to be flexible. If something does not work, get rid of it and think of something else. It is ok, it might work the next year for a different group of students.

Another thing that I have learned from working in a classroom is to go to other teachers that have had a classroom for a longer time and ask them for suggestions or supplies. They will become your best resource when you have run out of ideas for the classroom and need some help. Teaching can be a lot of work but in the end it is worth it because you can be changing children's lives for the better.
